AXT Jiu-Jitsu is a Fox Valley business located in Yorkville, Illinois and has been operating here since 2008. We are associated with the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce and have received the honor as being voted by our community as one of the "Best of the Fox" Top Martial Arts Schools in the area.​

Focus is instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is a self-defense martial art and combat sport based on standing grappling, ground fighting and submission holds. There are youth classes, adult 101 (fundamentals) and adult 201 (modular) classes in both Gi and NoGi. We are affiliated under world renown Jiu-Jitsu instructor Professor Roy Dean.

Our Women-Only Jiu-Jitsu class (high school age & up) is designed to introduce women to Jiu-Jitsu in a safe training environment at a convenient time once a week.

 

We have the distinction of having the only certified instructor in Illinois affiliated under martial arts legend Burton Richardson offering the JKD Unlimited's MMA For the Street program (high school age & up), which is JKDU's most comprehensive and curriculum-based self-defense training.
